Foreign Investors Association of Albania – FIAA together with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy of Albania and the State Agency for Strategic Programming and Aid Coordination (SASPAC) organized in March 10th the Conference “Energy Challenges towards Transition and Sustainability”.
This Conference was a great success attended by a high and qualitative audience with main Projects and Investors in Albania, Developers and Financers in Energy. In addition to the representatives from Albanian Energy Institutions, this Conference went beyond the borders, bringing discussions with Energy Institutions from Kosovo and Northern Macedonia, sharing common challenges from a regional market perspective.
The Conference had the special envoy of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy of Albania, Mrs. Belinda Balluku, who highlighted the high expression of interest from foreign investors in Albania as a proof of several years of work to turn attention to this sector, where Albania offers great potential and where only through such cooperation the country will we be able to turn into a net energy exporter within the year 2030.
The President of FIAA, Mr. Alessandro D’Oria underlined the importance of FIAA representing the key investors in the energy sector and facilitating transfer of know-how and best-practices, as a national hub not only for Albania, but also a gateway for regional growth.
