FIAA’ subcommittee of Mining, Oil and Gas has been very active on establishing and functioning of the National Network of the Extractive Industry in Albania.

At the initiative of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy of Albania (METE) and special attention from the Premier of Albania, representatives of this industry will be part of the Working Group to follow up procedures of the membership of Albania in EITI network (Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative).

The Working Group will represent the National Network of the Extractive Industry in Albania in high levels in and out of Albania regarding issues of the sector, Social Responsibilities and Transparency. The group will be assembled periodically to discuss all necessary issues.
