On October 15th, 2014, FIAA and KMPG Albania organized a specialized seminar on Transfer Pricing. The Seminar was attended by a high number of Professionals and Company Representatives.
Considering that the Transfer Pricing legislation is now on the Top of the Albanian Tax Authorities’ Agenda and a hot button issue for many companies, the seminar provided useful information on how to comply with the new transfer pricing rules.
Transfer pricing adjustments have been a feature of many tax systems for many years, and Albania is facing new challenges in this direction. On these grounds, the seminar was necessary to better understand how to deal with the challenges and be more practical on transfer pricing issues.
Transfer Pricing is the setting of prices of goods and services sold between related or controlled legal entities or individuals. The aim of TP legislation is to match, in a controlled transaction the transfer price with the prices that unrelated parties would use in a market transaction.
