The Manifacture Italiana has set up its foundations in Albania since 1995 with a small number of workers and now in 2015 has 300 employees, of which 90% women.
Its beginnings has been in a building in a small industrial zone in Shkozet-Durres, but the continuous growth of production made that today Manifacture italiana carry out its activities in the permanent establishment of the company in a large industrial zone along the road Durres-Shijak with an area of 9.000 mq where 6.000 mq was built covered area where manufacturing activity is performed and 3.000 mq serves for vehicles parking and greenery.
Manufacture Italiana produce now cylinders and locks for an important International brand, however its activities are in continuous development with new projects, products and fields of application. Just from the early years the Department of Cylinders produce many kinds of models, thanks to a qualified staff and a rigorous management of production personnel.
Locks production Department is opened after department cylinders around the year 2000. Today the production includes numerous types of models with high levels of security. Moreover Manifacture Italiana is also capable of performing the entire production cycle of its products: assembly, testing, packing, quality control and final shipment.
Manufacture Italiana, from the beginning of its activity has made available buses to accompany the workers from home to work as well as to create better working conditions. Within the company are environments: a dressing room with personal environments for all workers and a canteen creating optimal conditions for workers during their time of relaxation. This company has not only modern but also social manufacturer character, taking care of the workers. For example worker’s child can attend kindergarten at the expense of the firm or can take advantage of the summer camping. In collaboration with the doctor, the company makes frequent medical inspections and diagnostics of the workers as the control of the lungs, the analysis of the blood, diabetes and mammography etc. The employees every year are a volunteer part of the project “donate blood, save a life”.
