The Minister of Justice of Albania at the same time National Coordinator against Corruption, Mr. Ulsi Manja invited key business organizations and chambers of commerce to a roundtable meeting to discuss on the reconstruction of a new trust relationship with the Directorate of Anticorruption at the Ministry of Justice.
This first meeting Conference served not only to tackle the corruption cases encountered from the business activities, but also to address legal obstacles as a source of corruption. FIAA was represented in this meeting by the Board Member, Mr. Sokol Elmazaj. During the discussion were shared opinions on strengthening the capacities of the General Anticorruption Directorate and to increase the active role of this directorate in terms of prevention, punishment and citizen awareness in the fight against corruption in the public administration! The meeting discussions will follow up in the coming months with more specific discussions.
