The new President and four Board Members were elected in February 29th in the Annual Assembly of the association. On this occasion, FIAA congratulates and welcomes Mr. Balazs Revesz, CEO of Vodafone Albania, as a new Board Member and its new President, Mr. Mirsad Haliti, Member of the Management Board of Procredit Bank Albania as a new Board Member and is glad to have reconfirmed for a further mandate as Board Members Mr. Diego Pisa, CEO of Teleperformance Albania and Mr. Sokol Elmazaj, Partner at Boga & Associates.
Moreover, FIAA sends big thanks to the outgoing President Mr. Alessandro D’Oria, CEO of Intesa SanPaolo Bank Albania who with his committed leadership supported the development and the strengthening of FIAA’s position as an organization and crucial actor among the business associations in Albania.
Following a presentation by FIAA’s Executive Director, Marinela Jazoj, of the activities of the year 2023 and of the plans ahead, the participating Members decided furthermore unanimously in favor of raising the membership fee. This is a fundamental sign of trust of the membership in the work and results achieved by FIAA in the past years.
Part of the Assembly was also the launch of the Business Ethics Booklet entailing content based on the international good practice in this field and the concrete cases of four member companies, Antea Cement Sh.A., Shell, Vodafone Albania and Statkraft, whom FIAA also thanks for their financial support enabling this publication.
A pleasant networking atmosphere followed the successful Assembly Meeting, which again offered an opportunity to exchange and get to know the new members of FIAA who joined the association in the past months.
