Vodafone Albania Sh.A. started to operate in Albania in 2001, radically changing the Albanian mobile telephony market. Vodafone Albania is a subsidiary of Vodafone Group, the world’s leading international mobile communications group with operations in 25 countries across five continents and over 200 million proportionate customers by the end of January 2007, of which 100 million are in Europe, as well as 38 partner networks.

The company provides its 1,003,616 customers in Albania (as per end of June 2007) with a wide range of high quality communication services, including voice and data communications, ensuring that our customers use the best telecommunications network and benefit from innovative and quality services.

Vodafone Albania’s GSM mobile network covers 80% of the territory of the Republic of Albania and reaches up to 96% of the Albanian population in urban and rural areas. The company uses the latest mobile telecommunications technology and user-friendly facilities, to provide customers with a wide range of mobile communication services and offers.

Vodafone Albania has increased its business performance, becoming one of the leading companies in the country that contribute significantly to the Albanian economy. To date, Vodafone has a chain of 30 shops all over the country. Our commercial outlets are at the customers’ service seven days a week, offering Vodafone products and services, handsets and accessories, as well as technical assistance.
