FIAA’s Chairman Mr. Alessandro D’Oria and Board Member, Mr. Sokol Elmazaj had a discussion meeting with the Minister of Justice in Albania, Mr. Ulsi Manja. Main points of the discussions were focused on the cooperation that both institutions could intensify in the near future. The mission of FIAA is to foster dialogue and cooperation with the government and other institutions for a better investment climate and the Ministry of Justice as the National Coordinator for Anti-Corruption, would be a good starting point to work together, in particular to offer FIAA input to the fight against corruption, necessary reforms and mechanisms.
The concrete proposal they discussed and agreed together, was the co-organization of a dedicated Conference named “Mapping good anti-corruption practices across FIAA businesses and beyond” which could give focus also to the Company’s Ethics and Good Practices towards Business Integrity in Albania.
