The draft law No. 43/2015 “On Power Sector” has been under consultation with stakeholders where two roundtables have been held on 19 March and 8 April, organized by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy. At the later roundtable the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Mr. Enea Karakaçi was also participating.
FIAA was represented in these roundtables by the Chairman of the Energy Council, Mr. Ibrahim Halil Kilic, and the FIAA Executive Director, Ms. Marinela Jazoj, who further submitted consolidated comments collected from member companies operating in energy generation, trading as well as industry producers. In addition, it was shared the respective chapter and recommendations on renewable energy law from the FIAA White Book 2025-2029.
FIAA remains positive and committed to collaborating on the next steps of this important legislative process, ensuring that the perspectives of foreign investors are duly considered.
