FIAA New Board of Directors ‘Meeting

In June 9^th, the FIAA Board of Directors gathered in their first meeting after the newly elected members had joined. The main focus of the meeting was on the FIAA’s upcoming agenda as well as the New Board restructuring. Main discussions among the board members were “brainstorming” on the business concerns and issues that FIAA members report. The Board agreed that the Lobbying process will continue as intensively as before, but the approach with the authorities should be improved and restructured by embracing new ways.

Part of discussion was also the preparation of the White Book Albania 2021-2025 and the presentation approach to the stakeholders. The Book is planned to be launched during autumn, right away after the New Government Structuring. Through this Document, FIAA is expecting a close cooperation with the Government and stakeholders by considering this as an important tool which, will help on the further improvement of the Business climate in the Country.

In regards to the Board restructuring, the Board of Directors unanimously agreed to appoint as the Deputy Chairman of FIAA, Mrs. Rigela Gegprifti, Country Head for Statkraft Albania and the Treasurer of the Association, Mr. Bozhidar Todorov, CEO of FIBANK Albania who altogether will manage the association business.
