FIAA’s Tax Committee meets with Vice Minister of Finance and Economy Mrs. Vasilika Vjero

In the ambit of the various consultations with the Ministry of Finance, FIAA’s representatives of the Tax Committee, headed by the Chair Mrs. Alba Paparisto and FIAA’s Executive Director Mrs. Marinela Jazoj held a discussion meeting with the Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy, Mrs. Vasilika Vjero and other experts in the Ministry.

In addition of the discussions for the Business Recommendations’ Matrix held throughout the year, FIAA’s Committee Representatives expressed their concerns on the recent draft law on Income Tax, which for they shared some key observations and offered commitment to engage in further developing a more understandable and easily applicable law for the local and foreign taxpayers. The Meetings followed up with other technical discussions among FIAA experts and the Ministry representatives working towards further improvement of the Law on Income Tax which, is expected to continue consultations also during the first months of 2023.
