At the occasion of the appointment of the New Minister of Finance and Economy, FIAA’s Board Representatives, President Mr. Alvensleben, Deputy President Mrs. Gegprifiti and Executive Director Ms. Jazoj were received for a courtesy Meeting by the New Minister, Mrs. Delina Ibrahimaj.
The meeting was mainly focused on the business climate in Albania, Reforms in process and the endorsement and support to the publication of White Book 2021-2025, a document providing recommendations from the business community on various obstacles business has with current legislation, fiscal issues, etc.
During the Meeting, the Chairman Mr. Alvensleben, highlighted the role of FIAA in the business climate of the country, the long-standing cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and once again reinforced the will to continue mutual cooperation and have a stronger dialogue at the best of country’s business environment.
Also, in light of the launching of the FIAA White Book Albania 2021-2025 in October, the Minister has addressed a foreword expressing her support and readiness to further cooperate with FIAA.
“The White Book will be part of our agenda and will serve as a Guide in treating the addressed business concerns by using a new format of dialogue between the government and the Business Community. We will welcome the professional work that the FIAA Experts have prepared and will organize dedicated Ad-Hoc Working Groups with Experts from both Public Administration and Business Representatives in order to define concrete measures and implement recommendations coming from the White Book. I strongly believe that The White Book is a solid step toward a sustainable and long-term cooperation with the business community in the country”- stated Minister Ibrahimaj.
