Mr. Constantin von Alvensleben, Board Member of FIAA, Country Manager at Voltalia Albanie sh.p.k and the Chairman of FIAA’s Energy Industry Council, represented FIAA in the #Business2030 Conference organized in May 31st by the United Nations Albania and the Embassy of Sweden in Albania, which brought together international and local businesses, policy makers and experts discussing and focusing on sustainability practices and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Mr. Alvensleben participated in the first Panel of the Conference “Balancing profitability and responsibility towards a sustainable future”, where he shared his views on Main challenges that foreign investors have witnessed in the implementation of sustainable practices in Albania; Opportunities for sustainable practices in Albania, out there to be taken advantage of; and, Best examples of a sustainable foreign investment in Albania and explaining how such projects can serve to promote sustainable business practices in the country, as well as he shared some examples of Voltalia in Albania with Karavasta Solar project.
