In the frame of the cooperation that FIAA keeps with Diplomatic Bodies in Albania, Chairman Mr. Alessandro D’Oria and Executive Director Ms. Marinela Jazoj had a meeting with H.E Mrs. Konstantina KAMITSI, Ambassador of Greece in Albania and the commercial representatives of the Greek Embassy in Tirana.
Discussion of this meeting was mainly focused on the current business environment’s main concerns as well as most emerging challenges business is facing currently. During the meeting it was also discussed the long cooperation between FIAA and the Greek Business Community in Albania. Greek Investors continue to play an important role in the country’s economy, and their interest will be in the light of FIAA actions. The Greek business presence has been part of the FIAA ’Boards of Management through years, thus, creating stronger ties for further cooperation with international and local investors in the country.
In addition, the FIAA’s Chairman highlighted the role FIAA is playing also on the attraction of new Investors in the country through various promotional activities inside and outside Albania. The Greek Ambassador and her Team stressed out the importance of cooperation with FIAA, not only in the exchange of information and perspectives, but also on coordination of activities and events of mutual interest for Business. The upcoming Summit on Energy, FIAA together with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure will organize in early March, will be in the focus of the Embassy to bring new Greek investors in the energy sector.
FIAA shall continue meetings with other diplomats in the coming months and assist potential foreign investors interested on the Albanian market.
