FIAA’s President Mr. Alvensleben and Executive Director Mrs. Marinela Jazoj met with Mr. Luigi Soreca, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Albania.
Ambassador Soreca and Chairman Alvensleben highlighted the long cooperation among the two institutions, the respective roles and contribution at the best of country’s business environment and reinforced the will to continue even a stronger cooperation in the near future. Among the discussions, was also the endorsement and support to the publication of White Book 2021-2025, which was highly welcomed by Ambassador Soreca, strongly endorsing the role and Work of FIAA on the Business Environment in Albania.
In his foreword in the White Book 2021-2025, Ambassador Soreca gives a clear picture of the Albanian business climate and expresses: “Throughout the years, FIAA has been a proactive partner and interlocutor of the Government and International Institutions in Albania, including the EU Delegation in Tirana. I have watched with interest the FIAA’s increasing role in promoting business values and in lobbying on economic policy issues in the interest of foreign investors in Albania. Many of the issues that the FIAA analyses in this White Book share a common thread with the EU-supported reforms. I encourage the FIAA and the Government of Albania to engage in a mutually fruitful dialogue, in the interest of the country and of EU-Albania relations”.
