Under the leadership of FIAA’s President Balazs Revesz, and with the active collaboration of its members, FIAA conducted one of its flagship initiatives to date, aimed at collecting the most pressing issues and concerns in the business lines where its members operate.
The result of this work is a document containing nine top issues to be addressed by policy makers in the government to enable a more favorable business climate in Albania. The list of matters include the tax regime, the labor market reforms, the proper dialogue with the government in support of business environment, the development of a digital economy as a top priority, an increased focus on the energy industry, the land registration in the cadaster, the need for a national ESG framework, the further fighting of the Euro Depreciation, and stopping the initiative on the governmental control over the business community in Albania.
This document has been shared with the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation and the EU Delegation. In the upcoming weeks, this document will be shared with many other stakeholders involved in supporting Albania’s development to become a top economic hub in the region, open to draw and welcome foreign investments that are vital for its future.
FIAA thanks President Revezs for his direct involvement and his innovative approach in running this process, which will help FIAA create awareness and seek for support and cooperation with the Authorities by structuring the concerns of the membership in a proper way.
