On March 23rd, FIAA hold the annual Assembly Meeting of the Members and conducted election of three new Board Members and approval of some amended proposals to FIAA Bylaws.
In his opening speech the Vice President of FIAA, Mr. Dietlof Mare welcomed present FIAA members and made a short overview on the mission of FIAA and the performance of the organization during the last year which was notable through many taken actions in support of the members for a better investment climate in the Country.
The Meeting continued further with a presentation of the annual report on the activity of FIAA during 2015 presented by the Executive Director, Ms. Marinela JAZOJ. Mrs. Jazoj highlighted once more the mission of FIAA to “Support the success of members by promoting a healthy business environment in the country, and providing high-quality business information and resources” and introduced the members with a plan of the future projects and objectives for the year ahead.
The Assembly of members had the necessary quorum of members and the voting process was accomplished successfully.
Following the voting process, the suggested proposals for Bylaws of FIAA were accepted and the new elected Members in the Board of Directors of FIAA were:
Mrs. Aida NANI Country Director of Enso Hydro Energy
Mr. Dietlof Ziegfried Mare CEO of Vodafone Albania
Mr. Andreas Galatoulas CEO of University of New York Tirana
FIAA is a serious business organization that has built its integrity over 15 years of existence and continuous work. This organization is an independent institution that is not influenced by politics, but it is a reliable source of information, and a very active lobbying instrument, offering unparalleled networking opportunities, and a good advocate to its members and to the business climate at large.
