FIAA, representing the largest foreign companies in Albania was very pleased to be represented by Mr. Ante Frens (FIAA Board Member) who shared its views with Mr. Mark Bowman, Deputy President of EBRD, on the topics of business climate and economic development in Albania.
Rather than diving into a large number of different areas, Mr. Frens pointed to the Deputy President of EBRD the FIAA’s main work, the White Book 2021-2025, a very well-coordinated effort by FIAA members, which is addressing the different challenges the business encounters.
The White Book not only raises the issue but it also offers actual proposals how to tackle them, either in regulation, law, or by other means and it is intended for an entire government period, Mr. Frens stated.
He further added: “ We are happy that the government seems to be taking things in consideration by organizing a number of workshops to go through the items and discuss ways forward.
Of course, we can only be fully satisfied if the proposals make their (amended or alternative) way into legislation and regulation. “
